Guys, I've been recording from my home for several years. I record mostly acoustic-based music which tends to be more delicate when it comes to sonic quality. My mics, cables and digital interfaces are all pretty decent stuff for a home studio setup, but the "sound" I hear on many commercial recordings seemed out of reach for me no matter what I tried...until now. My new MicroClock was the missing link I needed to boost the sonic quality of my recordings to that commercial level. Yesterday's recording absolutely blew everyone away with the tight, focused sound and incredible clarity and detail. I am so grateful to you guys. I can't stop grinning!

I wanted you all at Black Lion Audio to know I really love the MicroClock. It has brought so much clarity to my mixing. There is such tightness to the low end and clarity in the mids and highs. Everything is so much more pleasing musically and sonically. I thank you all for developing such a great product.

I am using Genelecs to reference and they never sounded so good. Definitely a major step up for me in my working tools. I know my music will be sounding better and better now that I can really hear what I am doing without any smearing. I have been telling so many of my friends and associates about you guys and the product and your mods. I will actually be going into some of my friend’s studios and bringing the Micro Clock to demo the sonic difference to them personally in their own listening environment and applying the clock to their own mixes so they will hear the difference for themselves.

I hope to be sending customers your way very soon. Really appreciate your work and I love the Chord Co. BNC cable also. It was well worth the wait.

With the traveler slaved to the Microclock it will mainly effect your DA. Things will sound much fuller, detailed, and balanced. The difference can be subtle or dramatic depending on the quality of your converters. Even with the analog BLA mod on my 2408 MKIII, which already sounded very good, I can hear an enhancement to the sound that is giving me more balance, depth, width, detail, and fullness. It is clearly heard switching from the internal clock to Microclock. I've also got a Fireface 800, which also sounds good, but sounds even better when clocked from the Microclock. Again, the sound is a little wider with depth and balance. As a matter of fact, the combination of the Microclock and the BLA modded 2408 MKIII actually sounds better than the Firface 800 internally clocked or externally clocked to the Microclock - IMO. I also have a friend that has an HD3 rig with a Digi 192 interface. The 192 by itself sounds pretty good, but clocked to Microclock it's in another league. The sound became much fuller and vocals and instruments popped out of the speakers. My friend was truly amazed and will probably pick one up soon. Sorry for the long rant here but I think BLA has done a good job with this thing considering the price. I really do think it is better to try this out in your own environment rather than relying on samples posted on the web.

I own the microclock and use it with my modified RME Fireface. I notice a huge difference in the sound. My mixes sound 100% better than before. I record r&b and hiphop and the Micro Clock helps me get that in your face crystal clear sound I was always looking for. I use a passive summing box with a stereo Neve 1073 mic preamp, the clock seems to make my mixes sound a lot bigger and brighter, but not edgy. It sounds like I'm running through a big console but I'm not. I'm very happy with the Micro Clock.

To tie my system together, I've added the Micro Clock and the stability, punch, clarity, depth, warmth are what I've been looking for...all at an affordable cost. By the way, yes, I have owned (and returned) clocks and converters by the big brand x guys. My Black Lion setup sounds great and at about half the cost of brand X. BLA,... you guys rock!"

The new Microclock from Black Lion Audio has completely opened up my modded (BLA) Motu 828 MKII. I can hear fine adjustments made to my mixes so much clearer now, also the soundstage has opened up (3D),everything seems so much better, tighter, refined,my mixes sounds more professional (commercial grade).Thx again to everyone at BLA.
