The Signature Series modification for the 002 was developed and designed with one thing in mind: to turn Digidesign’s LE hardware into a monster multi-channel recording system that can rival or surpass even the most high end systems on the market today. It features our proprietary A/D and D/A circuit configurations and high speed, low noise analog stages. Low impedance, low ripple Sanyo OS-Con capacitors are used throughout the signal path and converter stages. Analog stage headroom is increased by 20dB over the stock 002.
Our new ‘patent applied for’ internal master clock is, hands down, the most advanced master clock in pro audio today. Not only does it feature our field tested and proven third order crystal oscillators, it has an astonishingly low 1 picosecond of intrinsic jitter measured using a delta sigma average. Our proprietary noise suppression technology reduces RF and switching noise to a bare minimum, ensuring smooth high frequency response. Dual high current signal driver stages are used to deliver the clock signal into galvanic-isolated 75 ohm terminations, drastically limiting transmission line reflections normally found in multi-channel digital systems. What does all of this mean? Digital audio so articulated, fat and rich it has to be heard to be believed. In a word, it sounds expensive.
Forget what you thought you knew about digital audio. As a multi-channel recording system, we feel that the Signature Series is not only unparalleled in price, it’s also extremely difficult to surpass in terms of performance. It also features the Black Lion Audio logo screen printed on the top plate. Unfortunately, due to space restrictions, we are unable to perform this modification on 002 and 003 consoles, sorry.

Here is how it works:
We schedule an appointment for the modification and then send you an
initial invoice for 50% down payment that is due within three days.
Payment can be made by credit card or through Paypal.
When payment is received we confirm your scheduled appointment.
You ship the unit to us so that it arrives two days before the
scheduled modification.
When the modification is finished we notify you and you then pay the
remainder of the cost.
We ship you the modified unit.
Please note that there is a cancellation fee of 30% of the scheduling
deposit.
If you wish to reschedule, we require two-weeks notice, and there is a
$25 rescheduling fee.
There is a $10 a day charge for units that remain on our shop for more
than seven days.
We wish we did not have to require these fees, but unfortunately they
are necessary in order for us to keep our prices low and to meet our
scheduled commitments.
